DEEP IMPACT.

Well, whatever I am about to write right now may not be of any relevance to anyone. But I am doing it just for the fun of it.Actually,now-a-days,my life is going through a silky patch, without turbulence, without unnecessary perturbation. The most important thing is that I have finally found the lost conection with myself and my inner being.

Dont worry, you wont be consumed in yet another tale of philosophy. Its just normal rountine life.Just what, most of you encounter but tend to ignore so blissfully.I too am a victim of the same so I cannot point fingers at others.I am a firm believer that knowledge and wisdom are two different entities all together. The formal is immaterial without the latter, yet the latter requires the former for implementation.

Bewildered??....quite engrossing??.....or simply bullshit??

Whatever you may pick from the above, shall define the inner state of your wisdom. No,I am not asking you to say it loudly to others but keep it your conscious. If you stop reading this from here-on,I would be last one to complain because before this,I too would have done the same.

First and foremost,I would like to tell you that I havent attended any yoga classes or joined the spiritual "ART OF LIVING" or the "BRAHMAKUMARIS"or any other social group, nor have I taken the apprentice-ship under any spiritual rouge who claims to drench your life in happiness & tranquility.I would rather stay away from all this.Even today, you would find me banging my head to the loudest metal grooves.

Metallica,Linkin Park,Breaking Benjamin,Slipknot,Nightwish,Within Temptations and lastly, the demigoddess of Gothic Rock,Amy Lee's EVANESCENCE are among my favourites. I dont bow down in front of a statue forget about visiting a temple or anything. All in all, what i want to say here is,that I am the same old guy that my friends know of but with a little twist. The twist is that I have learnt to prioritise my stuff.

My Kota friends must be knowing of our Mathematics teacher at Bansal Classes named A.S.He was a gem of a teacher. He always used to tell us "JAB CHEATING KARNE KA MAUKA MILE USKA POORA FAYDA UTHAO". He himself being an IITian was so unlike them.I mean I must confess that whatever image we have about IITians about being bookworms and typical "CHATUR" has been shattered to microscopic pieces.
Well, coming to the point,A.S. also used to say that the only thing that could fetch you success is not only hard work but smart work.(i know you must have heard it a million times). He told us once that the only thing that defines smart work is setting your priorities straight. He also gave a little example...

Assuming you have an assignment of about 50 questions. You return from the class.Chit chat with your friends for about an hour.Acceptable.Then,one of them urges you to get back to the assignment. You mock him and tell him to sit down.ACCEPTABLE.Finally you decide to start the noble work.Acceptable(thank you for that!!).But then after just five questions,a friends prompts you to go and have a dinner even when you have two hours in hand for that.Still, you get up and squander those full two hours, strolling around, going to a cyber cafe or may be end up watching a movie and then finally having dinner at the usual late time.NOW THATS SOMETHING THAT DECIDES YOUR FATE!!!!...THATS THOROUGHLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!.....(Although,its a fact that I did just the same and hence am bearing the pains of ignorance, believe me!!).

The good point in here is that he never told us to cut short on the fun factor. But then, that movie, which hindered your assignment could have easily been fitted in your weekend schedule, when you would wonder what to do when there are no classes. You either end up sleeping like a hound in the daytime or killing more time so happily.
The bottom line is that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Those two hours would have sufficed your need of finishing your assignment, which, because of a little ignorance remained unfinished till eternity.

So,this is the gist of my twist.A little shifting of stuff. And yes,its not at all about those TIME MANAGEMENT deals wherein you draft a lengthy time table, dictating every minute of your day.I know, things like those are meant to be dumbed on the wall. These things only adorn the walls of hostels or PG rooms but are never ever followed. They are the outcome of a gush of adrenalin when one day(out of a million)you think of conquering the world but then soon enough you would land back into reality and then those schedules start to piss you off till finally they are ripped off your wall!!!!

I know, most of you must be thinking,"Now he is talking sense!!"Actually, all I am trying to say here is that you neither need to change yourself, nor the world around you,but only small little adjustments would set things straight.Thats something I didnt realise then and even if I did,I wasnt able to put them to practice. So,how do I expect my readers to do so??...Well,frankly telling, even these small changes, which are so subtly put into words shall take ages to be put into effect and the reason for it is mentioned in my post named CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE.Read it,it might be helpful.

The conclusion is that changes have to be done and adjusted alongwith, sooner or later. But the one that helped me gain so much is easier to accomodate in our otherwise hectic lives. Finally,I would part with the final words that...

"Priorities your deeds as per the need of the hour.It may or may not fetch you the desired level of success but it surely will kkeep you at peace of mind and you will be in total synchronization with your internal being. Now thats the most coveted pinnacle of achievement!!!"
