EQUATION OF LIFE(Demystified)

Life isnt as pretty as the poems and the fairy tales describe it to be.Neither is it that stormy and un-bearable as the cruel depictions in the everyday running news channels and newspaper.

My life for instance is a blend.It has, if not the right balance then atleast a part of every portion of human emotion.

Emotions are funny entities.They seem to topple you over like a small slip initially but as time passes, you realize that it was not just a slight shiver but a whole earth-quake that had the strength to bring the sky –scrapers of memories down just like a house of cards.

Memories are involuntary reminiscent of past activities that stay back after the incident.Ironically, the more effort you make to discard them, the firmer is their grip on you.

Past is the time of your life that no matter how much you would like NOT TO EXIST, it STILL DOES.And no matter how much you would like to GO BACK to,you SIMPLY CANT.it is like the BLACK HOLE, where at one time, everything converges into one big moment of eternal happiness and at the other, explodes out like the BIG BANG, leaving empty spaces of sadness and dispersing pieces of a shattered heart to every inch of the immeasurable universe.

Happiness is the antonym of sadness. But in reality, it is the abstract form of sadness that masquerades tears into a symbol of  joy, only to be unmasked in the tense of Past when they acquire theirtrue nature.

Actually, if we look closely at the starting word of every sentence, it sums up to be –

LIFE={PAST(EMOTIONS + MEMORIES)}/HAPPINESS.

On a closer examination, one may find the anomaly of not including parameters like sadness, stress, tension, etc etc.. in the above equation.This is because the above equation is an IDEAL CASE.

The practical case is, however, slightly different.The difference too is the result of the oblivious nature of humans towards the idealistic situation.Let us try to derive the PRACTICAL EQUATION OF LIFE.

Going by the accepted convention, we can easily say that-

HAPPINESS=1/SADNESS

Now the slight change occurs only in the denominator of the IDEAL EQUATION..

The PRACTICAL EQUATION becomes…

LIFE={PAST(EMOTIONS+MEMORIES)}*SADNESS.

Unfortunately, this is the PRACTICAL EQUATION which most of us follow.

However, this is only a simplified and most easily understandable aspect of PHYSICS OF LIFE. Lets explore the depth of it in a little more detail.

DUALITY AS APPLIED TO EQUATION OF LIFE.

Duality exists in every aspect of existence.Right from the atoms of either a living or a non living object, to the fastest moving light rays in the nature, everything comes under the realm of DUALITY.

In the Equation of life, we do not witness the normal duality of  particle and wave as in most other physical phenomenon.

The duality in life is of two forms-

1).Duality in the realm of time

2).Duality is the realm of perception.

1).DUALITY IN THE REALM OF TIME

It might sound confusing, but this is the easiest and most recognizable type.By time I mean not the physical time, which,until the reality of invention of a real, physical time machine; always progresses in a unilateral positive direction.

However, there is another, in built mode of time travel which was endowed upon us by the Creator.The power to time travel in our past through our thoughts known as Memories or Remembrances. Walking down the memory lane one can recollect every incident of the past, as if they were as real as the present, provided the intensity of the remembrance is upto the required standards.

It is however only a bilateral lane akin to simple duplex connection of a data communication network.

 Therefore the duality of PAST & PRESENT is always present at any point of  our life.The implications of our past have a profound effect on our present which eventually becomes our past again. To introduce certain corrections in the IDEAL EQUATION to make it applicable on instaneous sample period of anyones life is beyond my capability as of now.

Still, the only way to acquire acceptable and near to accurate esults is by pre-assuming the nature of tense in the sample period,i.e. whether one is evaluating the life of the PAST or the PRESENT. The assumption of PAST is way much easier, and if it’s a long time back, the results are expected to be most accurate. The assumption of PRESENT is slightly difficult and can be applied by taking PAST-->0(Read Past tending to Zero). This is the closest we can get to PRESENT by making our PAST as close to NULL as possible.

Philosophically, this is the ideal state which is not attainable practically by most of us.The words like THE ENLIGHTENED ONE, THE WISE SAINT or te GURU are close approximations of the same. Hence, as is visible from the above description, the DUALITY IN TE REALM OF TIME is an elusive phenomenon but it cant be ignored or ruled out of consideration at any cost.

2).DUALITY IN THE REALM OF PERCEPTION

 This is again one of the most intriguing as well as enigmatic aspect of LIFE EUATION.This is a judgmental aspect of human mind and differs from person to person.Its importance lies in the fact that it is the deciding factor on the parametrs of HAPPINESS (+) or SADNESS(-).

Key points to be noted here are-

a).If the Perception has a positive value , it always ranges betweem 0 and 1 ( as is evident from the fact that Happy Moments are usually shortlived)Therefore,

If Perception= positive,

HAPPINESS=(0,1]

b).If Perception has a negative value, it always ranges from (- infinity) to 0, both excluded(as is evident from the fact that even the smallest period of sadness seems to last long enough).Therefore.

If Perception=negative

SADNESS=(-Inf, 0)

c).Positive values beyond +1, i.e. (1, +Inf),are applicable only when PAST=0, which is the state of ULTIMATE WISDOM, GREATNESS etc.This however, is beyond the scope of an average human being and hence it will be discussed separately.

d).At te point where PERCEPTION becomes 0, the values of PAST becomes a NON ZERO CONSTANT,and HAPPINESS=SADNESS=0, and the Life becomes-

i)Either NOT DEFINED (HAPPINESS=0)

ii)NULL (SADNESS=0

Both imply the same thing in terms of  existence i.e. LIFE CEASES TO EXIST or the subject is DEAD.

APPLICATIONS/IMPLICATIONS OF DUALITY  OF PERCEPTION

CASE-I- When PERCEPTION = POSITIVE

LIFE={PAST(EMOTIONS + MEMORIES)}/HAPPINESS

Since the value of HAPPINESS is positive and lies between (0,1], the value of LIFE increases considerably.

(Implicit implications are left to the reader to evaluate and apply practically.)

CASE-II- When PERCEPTION = NEGATIVE

LIFE={PAST(EMOTIONS+MEMORIES)}*SADNESS

Since the value of  SADNESS is negative and lies between (-Inf, 0), te value of LIFE plummets to trenches of gloom.

(Again, it is for the readers to decipher th implications which are “clearly visible in disguise”)

CASE-III- When PERCEPTION = 0

LIFE=[{PAST(EMOTIONS + MEMORIES)}/(HAPPINESS=0)]= NOT DEFINED

OR

LIFE=[{PAST(EMOTIONS+MEMORIES)}*(SADNESS=0)]=0

Both invariably imply simply that without PERCEPTION, a LIFE HAS NO VALUE AT ALL, i.e. LIFE=DEAD

IMPORTANT NOTE- PERCEPTION=0 can be attained only once!!!

CONCLUSION-

Life is a complex phenomenon and the complexity arises due to its constituents.The aspect of DUALITY makes it even more difficult to obtain a stable, constant graph if plotted against time.

In fact, the graph of life is one of the most peculiar sorts where probability of predicting the points  of inflections correctly are next to impossible.Also,there are no limits to provide a boundary to the maximas and minimas  when PERCEPTION has a NON ZERO value.

Also, as soon as PERCEPTION attains ZERO, PAST becomes NON ZERO CONSTANT and we can take sample period of the PAST as a whole or divide it as per our requirement to suitably give pseudo values to PERCEPTION’(read Perception dash, the imaginary or assumed perception of a dead being) to gauge the previous values of LIFE at that particular sample of the past.

In general, PERCEPTION’ values are rarely assumed and applied on some other persons equation, but they hold importance when the value of MEMORIES in the equation of a certain being exceeds the critical limit.This limit is variable and depends on EMOTION as well as other intangible factors.

There are some other aspects of variations in EMOTIONS and MEMORIES which shall be discussed later.

Finally, one might find the article obscure and bewildering to say the least.However, the points raised are substantial and need an in depth understanding of the related matter.
